Brooklyn native Kacee Devoe founded Raging Queen Entertainment in 2016, following her tenure as executive assistant to Academy-nominated filmmaker Lee Daniels.

Brooklyn native Kacee Devoe founded Raging Queen Entertainment in 2016, following her tenure as executive assistant to Academy-nominated filmmaker Lee Daniels.
As a child, she had a passion for film, storytelling, and the arts. While studying English Literature/Arts at Medgar Evers College, she landed an internship on the star-studded indie feature "Blackout", which ultimately led to an associate casting director position in Los Angeles, California.
She teamed up with Artios Award-winning casting director Leah Daniels-Butler on notable titles including "The Butler," "The Paperboy," "Empire," and many others.

RQE's first film, Kacee's directorial debut, "Crossroads," premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2016. The 28-minute film, inspired by Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol," is almost entirely silent.
Shortly after, she directed "Blackness," a music video highlighting race, identity, and appropriation, and later produced a series of music videos for the UK's megastar KSI, which garnered over 29 million views.
In 2021, she produced "Day of Joy," a short feature inspired by the New York rom-coms we love. The film premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and is available on Amazon Prime Video.

After completing NYU's Tisch School of the Arts Modern Screenwriting program, Kacee launched RQE into the independent phase with a slate of original works in development, focused exclusively on its core features and TV series -- RQE's premium original content.
